Tournament Structure
Designed to challenge and reward the best in our community, the tournament has been divided into four stages:
Event Period: 11th July 2023–11th Aug 2023 (1 month)
Registration
Date Start: Jul 11, 2023 end Jul 18, 2023
Public Qualifier
The Public Qualifier mode will be free-for-all for those who registered. The top 32 players from the Public Qualifier will advance to the Qualifier stage.
Qualifier
The Qualifier will consist of 4 groups of 8 players. The players in each group will play twice, and the top 16 players that gained the most points will advance to the Playoffs.
Playoffs
The Playoffs will consist of 16 players who will play 2 games as well. The top 8 players from the Playoffs will advance to the Finals.
Finals
The Finals will consist of 8 players who will play 3 games. The winner of the Finals will be the champion of the CyberChess Match Mode Tournament.
Points System
- 1st Place — 8 points
- 2nd Place — 7 points
- 3rd Place — 6 points
- 4th Place — 5 points
- 5th Place — 4 points
- 6th Place — 3 points
- 7th Place — 2 points
- 8th Place — 1 point
- No show = 0 point
Prize Pool
Qualifier (Top 32) — $200 shared
Playoffs (Top 16) — $400 shared
Finals (Top 8)
- 4th Place to 8th Place — $500 shared
- 3rd Place — $150
- 2nd Place — $250
- 1st Place (Champion) — $500
